Using our website

The information on this website is general information about osteopathy, Pilates and our services. It is not a diagnosis or a substitute for an assessment by a qualified health professional.

We try to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise that it will always be available, complete or free from errors. We may change or remove content at any time.

Please do not misuse the website, for example by trying to gain unauthorised access to it, introducing viruses or other harmful code, or using it for anything unlawful.

Exercise videos and guides

Our free and paid exercise videos and PDF guides are general advice. If you are unsure whether an exercise is suitable for you, please check with your osteopath, GP or another health professional first. Stop any exercise that causes pain or makes you feel unwell.

Appointments and fees

New and returning patients can book osteopathy appointments online on our Appointments page, or by phoning 07761 664325. Our current appointment times and fees are shown on that page. At the time of writing, a new patient appointment is £70.00 and a continuation appointment is £53.00.

You can only book Osteopathy online. If you would like to take part in a Pilates class, please contact us. Our current Pilates class times and fees are also shown on the Appointments page.

Cancellation and late arrival policy

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full appointment fee will be payable. The same fee applies if you miss your appointment without notice.

Please arrive on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to provide your full appointment. If we’re unable to go ahead with the appointment, the full appointment fee will be payable.

To cancel, rearrange or let us know you’re running late, please contact us as soon as possible.

Clothing for your appointment

Depending on the area being assessed or treated, you may be asked to remove some items of clothing. Your osteopath will explain why and ask for your consent before proceeding. You can ask questions, request a chaperone, or pause or stop the examination or treatment at any time. You may wish to bring shorts and a vest to wear during your appointment.

Registration and insurance

Emily is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and insured through the Institute of Osteopathy.

Buying Pilates videos online

When our online shop is open, you can buy access to Pilates videos. These are digital content: you watch them online through your account on this website. The price is shown on the product page and at checkout, and we will send you an order confirmation by email.

Your right to cancel. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content, that right ends once the content starts to be supplied. At checkout we will ask you to tick a box to confirm that you want access to start straight away and that you understand you will lose your right to cancel once streaming or downloading has started. If you do not tick the box, you cannot complete the order.

Refunds. Once streaming or downloading has started, we do not give refunds unless the video is faulty or not as described. This does not affect your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and if it is not, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund. Please contact us if there is a problem with a video.

The videos are for your own personal use. Please do not share your account, or copy, download, record or pass on the videos.

Intellectual property

The content of this website, including the text, photographs, videos, PDF guides, logos and design, belongs to Kibworth Osteopaths Ltd or is used with permission. You may view it, and download or print our free guides, for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, reproduce, sell or republish our content without our written permission.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We only supply our website and services for domestic and private use, and we are not liable to businesses for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

If digital content we have supplied damages a device or other digital content belonging to you because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation.

Concerns and complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please tell us first using our contact form or by phoning 07761 664325, and we will try to put things right.

If you have concerns about the competence or professional conduct of your osteopath and you have not been able to resolve them with us, you can raise a concern with the General Osteopathic Council (opens in a new tab).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our services or the law. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. The terms that apply to an appointment or purchase are the ones shown here when you made the booking or placed the order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
