  1. Case History

You’ll be asked what happened, when it started and how it affects your day, along with your general health, so your treatment is safe and suited to you.

  2. Physical Examination

Next, a look at how the painful area moves – comfortable gym clothing is ideal. Osteopaths use a highly developed sense of touch to find areas of weakness or strain.

  3. Explanation

You’ll hear what is going on and why, with a plan that sets short, medium and long-term goals. Nothing is done without a clear explanation and your consent.

  4. Treatment

Typically soft-tissue release and joint mobilisation, plus self-help advice such as stretches, ice or heat and desk set-up, so your recovery keeps moving between visits.

Emily has been amazing. Since I have been following her advice and going for treatments, my back is so much better. Couldn’t recommend her high enough.

Client, name withheld for confidentiality

Emily is a fabulous therapist. As a qualified therapist myself I’m picky about who I’ll let work on me, and I have no hesitation in recommending Emily. 5 stars all the way!
